The Princess Anne Police Department would like to remind citizens that they can contact Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at 410-548-1776 to give anonymous tips concerning crime. Information that leads to an arrest can result in monetary rewards.


• On 11-20-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the America’s Best Value Inn, located at 30359 Mt. Vernon Road in reference to a hit and run motor vehicle collision. Investigation revealed that the suspect collided with the victim’s vehicle in the parking lot after leaving the Inn and left the scene without providing any information. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-18-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Arden’s Run apartment complex, located at 30630 UMES Boulevard in reference to malicious destruction of property. Investigation revealed that the suspect damaged a window to one of the apartment buildings during the early morning hours of 11-18-20. The suspect was identified and charges are pending.

• On 11-14-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 11569 Progress Lane in reference to malicious destruction of property. Investigation revealed that the suspect damaged the victim’s door following an argument. The victim was referred to the District Court Commissioners Office for charges.

• On 11-13-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 11547 Church Street in reference to an assault. Investigation revealed that following an argument, two subjects became involved in a physical assault. Both parties were separated for the evening and the incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-10-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Royal Farms store parking lot, located at 30452 Mt. Vernon Road in reference to an assault. Investigation revealed that the suspect assaulted the victim following an argument. The victim was referred to the District Court Commissioners Office for charges.

• On 11-10-20, the Princess Anne Police Department served Angela Michelle Walker, 50, of Princess Anne, Maryland with two outstanding District Court bench warrants for failure to appear. Walker was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Walker on an unsecure $500.00 bond.

• On 11-8-20, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Carlos Adan Munoz Delcid, 40, of Marion Station, Maryland for driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from a single motor vehicle crash investigation in the area of Route 13 and Stewart Neck road where it was found that Delcid had driven off of the highway and into a ditch. Delcid was not injured in the crash and he was charged with fail to obey designated lane directions, unsafe lane change, fail to obey traffic control device, driving vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed, driving in violation of restricted license requirement, driving with alcohol in blood in violation of restriction, negligent driving, reckless driving, driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while under the influence of alcohol per se, and driving while impaired by alcohol. Delcid was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.

• On 11-8-20, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Andre Demetris Dennis, 45, of Princess Anne, Maryland with trespassing. The charge stemmed from a complaint of Dennis being on the Royal Farms store property, located at 30452 Mt. Vernon Road after previously being banned from the property. Dennis was subsequently released from custody after being issued a criminal citation for trespassing.

• On 11-8-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30519 Pecan Drive in reference to a large crowd involved in a fight. Officers were able to disperse the crowd and learned that several assaults took place. No injuries were reported, and the incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-6-20, the Princess Anne Police Department served Glenn Philip Richards, 69, of Princess Anne, Maryland with three outstanding District Court bench warrants for failure to appear. Richards was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Richards on personal recognizance.

• On 11-6-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30500 Riggin Street in reference to an assault. Investigation revealed that the victim was assaulted by the suspect following an argument that turned into a physical confrontation. The victim was referred to the District Court Commissioners Office for charges.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department served Robert Johnson Jr., 56, of Salisbury, Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Johnson Jr. was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $1,000.00 bond. Johnson Jr. was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 12149 College Place in reference to a theft from motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole various items between the evening hours of 11-3-20 and early morning hours of 11-4-20. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30550 William P. Hytche Boulevard in reference to a theft that occurred on 11-3-20. Investigation revealed that while the suspect was left alone in the victim’s apartment, the suspect stole money out of the victim’s purse. The suspect was identified and the incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30582 Pine Knoll Drive in reference to rogue and vagabond. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours of 11-3-20; however, did not steal anything from the vehicle. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30027 Greenspring Drive in reference to a theft from motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours of 11-3-20 and stole various items. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30619 Pine Knoll Drive in reference to a theft from motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle during the overnight hours of 11-3-20 and stole various items. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30011 Deanwood Road in reference to rogue and vagabond. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours of 11-3-20; however, did not steal anything from the vehicles. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 11760 St Stephens Way in reference to rogue and vagabond. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours of 11-3-20; however, did not steal anything from the vehicles. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 11-4-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 30578 Pine Knoll Drive in reference to a theft from motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours of 11-3-20 and stole various items. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 10-31-20, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Anthony Brian McGirr, 30, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault first degree. The arrest stemmed from a fight in progress involving a knife complaint at the Manokin River Park, located at 11840 Somerset Avenue. McGirr was charged with assault first degree, assault second degree, affray, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure. The victim was treated and released from the scene and McGirr was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond. McGirr was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

• On 10-31-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Arden’s Run apartment complex, located at 30630 UMES Boulevard in reference to malicious destruction of property. Investigation revealed that the suspect damaged the front door and a window to the victim’s apartment following an argument with the victim. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 10-26-20, the Princess Anne Police Department served William Ellis Christopher, 57, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Christopher was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Christopher on an unsecure $1,000.00 bond.

• On 10-25-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the area of 30500 Hickory Road in reference to an aggravated assault. Investigation revealed that the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and threatened to harm another individual. The victim was able to walk away from the suspect and no injuries were reported. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 10-24-20, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Glenn Philip Richards, 68, of Princess Anne, Maryland with trespassing. The charge stemmed from a complaint at Juniors Wines store, located at 11795 Somerset Avenue. Richards had previously been barred from the property and he was charged with trespassing and disobeying a lawful order. Richards was subsequently released after being issued his criminal citations.

• On 10-22-20, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Demitrius Deshaun Mills, 32, of Princess Anne, Maryland with disturbing the peace. The charge stemmed from a complaint at 30472 Broad Street where Mills was found to be disturbing the peace. Mills was subsequently released from custody after being issued a criminal citation.

• On 10-22-20, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Glenn Philip Richards, 68, of Princess Anne, Maryland with disobeying a lawful order. The charge stemmed from a complaint at the Ace Hardware Store, located at 11718 Somerset Avenue where Richards was found to be panhandling. Richards was charged with disobeying a lawful order and disorderly conduct. Richards was subsequently released from custody after being issued his criminal citations.

• On 10-22-20, the Princess Anne Police Department served Dajour Demont White, 19, of Salisbury, Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant out of Wicomico County. The bench warrant was for failure to appear in court. White was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released White on personal recognizance.

• On 10-22-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 12235 Anne’s Way in reference to an assault. Investigation revealed that the suspect assaulted the victim after the victim asked the suspect to leave. The victim was referred to the District Court Commissioners Office for charges.

• On 10-20-20, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Evan Ashton Bailey, 22, of Edgewood, Maryland for obstructing and hindering. The arrest stemmed from a domestic disturbance complaint at the Talons Square South apartment complex, located at 30515 UMES Boulevard. Bailey was found to be on scene and was refusing to cooperate with officers. Bailey was charged with obstructing and hindering, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Bailey was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Bailey on personal recognizance.

• On 10-20-20, the Princess Anne Police Department took a report of malicious destruction of property at 12260 Anne’s Way. Investigation revealed that the suspect damaged the victim’s window on 10-18-20. The victim was referred to the District Court Commissioners Office for charges.

• On 10-19-20, the Princess Anne Police Department took several reports of thefts that occurred at the Stone’s Auto Repair parking lot, located at 30627 Hampden Avenue. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) removed several batteries from some of the vehicles that were parked in the parking lot between the dates of 10-15-20 and 10-19-20. The Incident remains under investigation.

• On 9-3-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Talon’s Square South apartment complex, located at 30515 UMES Boulevard in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that while the victim left his vehicle unattended, the suspect(s) stole the vehicle. The vehicle was later located and charges are pending.

• On 9-3-20, the Princess Anne Police Department served Sandra Jean Elliott, 34, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons. The criminal summons charged Elliott with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, providing a false statement to officer, and possession/issue forged currency in regards to an incident that occurred on 8-6-20 at the Hardee’s restaurant, located at 30362 Mt. Vernon Road. Elliott was subsequently released from custody upon signing for the criminal summons.

• On 9-2-20, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Dana Lynnette Walston, 53, of Princess Anne, Maryland with theft less than $100.00. The charge stemmed from a theft complaint at the Reserve at Somerset Commons apartment complex, located at 30500 Hickory Road. Walston was issued a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00 and subsequently released from custody.

• On 9-2-20, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Darron Vertell White, 23, of Princess Anne, Maryland for disorderly conduct. The arrest stemmed from a disturbance in the area of Antioch Avenue and Beechwood Street. White was found to be involved in the disturbance and was charged with failure to obey a lawful order, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and being intoxicated in a public place causing a disturbance. White was released from custody upon being issued his criminal citations.

• On 9-1-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Hawks Run apartment complex, located at 30630 UMES Boulevard in reference to malicious destruction of property. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) damaged the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the complex parking lot on 9-1-20 between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Incident remains under investigation.

• On 8-31-20, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Talons Square South apartment complex, located at 30515 UMES Boulevard in reference to a theft. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the victim’s bedroom and stole various property. Incident remains under investigation.

• On August 30, 2020, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Lawrence Eugene White, 64, of Princess Anne, Maryland with consuming alcohol on public property. The charge stemmed from White being observed consuming alcohol in the Manokin River Park, located at 11840 Somerset Avenue. White was issued a criminal citation for consuming alcohol on public property and subsequently released.

• On August 26, 2020, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Marcus Mitchell Davis Harmon, 34, of Atlantic, Virginia for driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred at Beechwood Street and Prince William Street. Harmon was charged with driving a motor vehicle without required license, driving on a suspended license, failure to stop after unattended property damage accident, driving a motor vehicle so far impaired by drugs, alcohol cannot drive safely, driving on an out of stated suspended license, failure to drive vehicle on right half of roadway when required, failure to obey properly placed traffic control device, failure to control speed to avoid collision, driving on a revoked license, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving, and reckless driving. Harmon was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.

• On August 25, 2020, the Princess Anne Police Department served William Ellis Christopher, 57, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. Christopher was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Christopher on personal recognizance.

• On August 24, 2020, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Troy Booker Nixon, 52, of Princess Anne, Maryland for possession of a controlled dangerous substance-not marijuana. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Nixon was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Nixon was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-not marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Nixon was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $3,000.00 bond. Nixon was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

• On August 24, 2020, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Gloria Mae Joseph, 54, of Salisbury, Maryland for possession of a controlled dangerous substance-not marijuana. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Joseph was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Joseph was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-not marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Joseph was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Joseph on personal recognizance.
